Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

Life was going reasonably well for W until his younger brother died. Since then, this twenty eight year old has had severe mental health problems. Financial problems, and the threat of eviction, made W turn to Christians Against Poverty, who are helping to put his life and finances back together. He is enrolled on a hairdressing course and the future is starting to look brighter for him. W is coping with new bills as they come in, but past debts are causing concern and he needs a fresh start. Please can you help him?
Still £80 left to donate

Still £90 left to donate
Total needed £90This gentleman has 5 children. He is working part time as he had a heart attack in 2020 and has other ongoing health issues. He doesn't speak English. He and his wife have got themselves into debt with their electricity due to low income and rising costs. They are working with Christians Against Poverty and need a Debt Relief Order each to clear the debt. It is putting a lot of stress on him and having this paid would mean the debt is cleared quickly.
