This man's wife, of forty years, passed away a few months ago. He's devastated by the loss, but it's also left him struggling financially as the household income has dropped considerably. We're working with him to balance his budget and he currently spends over £100 a month on renting appliances. We have supplied a new washer, but he needs a fridge freezer which will have a huge impact on his ability to manage his money.

His illness has led him to accrue many debts that he cannot pay off as he cannot work, so only receives benefits. Going bankrupt is the only way forward for him as he does not know how much time he has left. This would give him a fresh start, enable him to enjoy what time he has left and not worry about being in debt.

After life-changing medical incidents for both her and her husband, there is significant financial strain on the family. Regularly reliant on Foodbank, the family are concerned about Christmas. C is trying her best to save money each month to purchase a new bed for her son, as the current one is unsuitable. This money would be used to purchase a more suitable bed so that they can afford the daily/weekly essentials.

Total needed £200I am working with a single parent who has five dependent children. Mum is living on a very low monthly income and is struggling to make ends meet. Her mum has just passed away and she cannot afford the travel costs to attend the funeral. A one-off payment would cover her flight to Lagos and allow her to properly commemorate her mum and to be with her family at this difficult time. This parent is attending appointments with our debt advisor.

Total needed £200This recently divorced, single parent was self employed, but has been ill and unable to work for the last year. She is scheduled for major abdominal surgery in November, followed by a lengthy recovery before she can resume working. Mum has two children, one with additional needs. She will be unable to hand wash their clothes or take them to a launderette during her recovery, leaving her with no other options. Mum has used any savings she had to secure her family home after her divorce.

Total needed £200This gentleman, who has just moved to our area, was supported by Action Housing. He struggles greatly with his mental health and is happy to have his own home and a bed to sleep in. He has all the white goods, but no cooking or eating utensils, nowhere to dry his clothes or iron and hang them up. He is on Universal Credit and awaiting an application for Employment and Support Allowance and Personal Independence Payment. This gentleman needs a hoover, pans, pots and cutlery, a clothes maiden, an iron and an ironing board and coat hangers so he can keep a nice clean home. Thank you for your support.

Total needed £150X is in need of financial support in raising funds for a Debt Relief Order (DRO). He has physical problems which lead to falling and tripping regularly. He also has memory issues which have meant that he has missed appointments with the Department of Works and Pensions and has incurred sanctions. This has meant not having enough income for his priority needs, which has caused arrears on household bills. A DRO and budgeting support from us would allow a fresh start to get X back on track.

Total needed £90J is a very exhausted gran whose health is currently at breaking point. She is struggling day to day to manage a huge amount of laundry in a tiny flat while, at the same time, caring for her grandson who has very complex emotional needs and is doubly incontinent. Money is extremely short, as so much has to go on electricity, heating and laundry liquid. This money would cover a an extra quilt that she needs and four service washes to take the pressure off her for a month.

She has a long history of poor sleep, resulting in exhaustion and difficulty concentrating. This lady has been unwell for many years and has struggled to manage her finances on a low income. A Debt Relief Order would release her from excessive worry and help her to get back onto solid ground.

Total needed £90M, an an older gentlemen living in supported accommodation, suffers with anxiety, depression and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). He is in recovery and being supported for this. Due to his mental health issues, M has sadly accumulated substantial debt and has sought help from his local Citizens Advice Bureau. They have advised that his only option is to go bankrupt, but he cannot afford the full fee of £680. Please would you consider supporting this gentlemen to be able to start over and concentrate on getting better, rather than worrying about debt?

He has begun to make real progress over the last couple of years, but unfortunately, he is not very good with money and has got into debt. My client is working with Christians Against Poverty (CAP) and, as well as doing a CAP Money course, they have recommended a Debt Relief Order (DRO) which costs £90. My client doesn't have the £90 for the DRO. Please can you help?

J and his partner have spilt up, but share custody of their children, aged six and fourteen years old, and he pays a substantial amount of money towards his children's care. J struggles with interacting with people. He is currently using a launderette or machines at the local garage. This is expensive, but cheaper weekly than buying a machine. The family are currently supported by our social supermarket and are engaging positively. Please can you help?

Her daughter is still sleeping in a cot bed which she has now outgrown. We would like to ask if you can help us to support J with the £150 needed to buy a single bed for her daughter so she can have a proper night's sleep, which will mean she is more refreshed for nursery. It will also relieve some of the worry J is under.

Total needed £200H is a diabetic who is fitted with a sensor and an insulin pump. She reads the sensor herself and manually uses the pump. For the last six months, the suppliers of this equipment have been pushing her to use their app on a mobile phone to better monitor her levels. H cannot afford the phone and has refused. The company are threatening to not provide the insulin unless she gets a phone. The cheapest phone she can find that supports the app is £220. She has £40 towards the phone.

Total needed £180V, who lives with her young teenage son, is on a limited income. Due to ill health, she suffers from night sweats and both her clothes and bed clothes need washing daily. Her son's school uniform and sports gear also need washing on a regular basis. V's washing machine broke down recently and, due to her limited resources, she has been unable to purchase a replacement. Any amount raised will go towards helping her purchase a new washing machine.

However, due to having to pay for repairs to her home, so she can feel safe and more comfortable, T does not have spare funds to purchase these. She is struggling with her mental health and is receiving support for this. T would appreciate any help with this.
