Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

This lady has had a hugely traumatic past that continues to impact her daily life. Separated from her support network of siblings, when cladding on building checks meant that the rest of her family was moved to Milton Keynes, she was moved to Bradford. Her mother, who she has not seen since 2005, is visiting from abroad for a family wedding. This lady didn't attend, due to lack of funds for travel, but the school recognises an important opportunity for her to see her mum and is seeking funds to get transport before her mum leaves.

Total needed £160Our client had a stroke on the right side of his body and has been hospitalised since summer 2022. He has also suffered a relationship breakdown and could have potentially been homeless when discharged from the Stroke Unit. Our client has recently secured some accommodation, but it is completely empty. A bed would ensure that he will be as comfortable as possible on discharge, however, he cannot afford this as he is in receipt of Universal Credit. Thank you so much for reading this.
