Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
This lovely family have had a very challenging year that has been fraught with difficulties. Dad has had his working hours reduced, through no fault of his own, and mum continues to struggle with complex health issues, affecting her ability to work. They are in receipt of limited benefits and are reluctant to ask, but would be so grateful for your help to purchase new school uniform and new school shoes for their daughter aged eight.
Still £60 left to donate
Total needed £80Our applicant's mum died by suicide in November 2023 and her two siblings have subsequently been cared for by dad, who relocated from another area of the country in order to care for them. He had minimal parental responsibility prior to the bereavement, therefore, has had to quickly take on the role of a full-time single parent and has had to make adaptations. Our applicant and siblings are due to start senior school next term and your support would help buy new uniforms. Dad is unemployed at present so is unable to afford this expense. He would also appreciate some money towards food supplies over the school holidays.
