Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
This family of refugees from Afghanistan, who came to the UK in the summer, do not have any recourse to public funds and are really struggling. Their eldest daughter is six years of age and needs new school uniform as she has had a growth spurt and the weather has turned very cold recently. They would also like to buy an air-fryer to make cooking easier for them. Your help would be very much appreciated.
Still £120 left to donate
Total needed £130This seventeen year old, who arrived in the UK recently, made the traumatic journey on his own to escape the war and persecution he was facing in his home country. Separated from his family and friends, he arrived with barely any personal belongings. This young man is travelling to and from college in unsuitable clothing for our cold, wet winter. It is difficult to go for walks and meet with peers, as it is so uncomfortable in the cold. The support given will help him be able to buy warm winter clothes and footwear.
