Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

K was released from prison just before Christmas and was given just £96 to live on until his benefits payments are sorted out, which may take up to six weeks. He is currently homeless and spending much of his time out in the cold. We would like to provide him with supermarket gift cards so that he can buy food and also some warm clothing. Your help to assist K through this difficult time would be much appreciated.

Total needed £150RA, the mom in a family of five in Wolverhampton, has recently got in touch with the St Vincent de Paul centre for help with clothing. The family hasn't been able to find anything suitable for their needs at local clothing banks or through local appeals. These Kurdish asylum seekers, with children aged thirteen, seven and six, have have very little money to spend on essentials. We want to be able to purchase clothing - especially as they have little in the way of winter clothing. Thank you for any support you can give.

Total needed £160This man lives with us in supported accommodation. He suffers with low mood and low self esteem, compounded by difficult family relationships, unemployment and recent weight gain. He is now engaging in support sessions, embracing counselling and tackling root causes of addiction. He is thrilled to now have a part time job as a caretaker, but has not been paid yet. He would benefit from your help to buy a waterproof coat and boots for outdoor working, and some general clothing in view of his weight gain.
