This lady has been rehoused by her housing association, due to severe damp and mould which has ruined her bedroom furniture and carpets. She has a six year old child and is the carer for her husband. The bedroom furniture will be replaced through funds from her housing association, but this will not cover the cost of carpets. K is an Afghan single mother, aged twenty seven, with two children, aged four and two. About six months ago, she had to flee her home, due to domestic violence and has recently been allocated a house. Neighbours have very kindly provided her with a living room carpet and we are hoping to help fit the children's bedroom carpets for extra warmth during the winter months.

N has come to us in real need as her and her partner are really struggling financially and are already receiving some support for food. They desperately need a new carpet for their baby's bedroom. This will help them finish this room fully and begin the process of having their baby sleep in their own bedroom. Due to their financial situation, they have been unable to do this and would appreciate any help they receive. They have some money to put towards this as the carpet will cost around £200.
