Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
N, who is a young mum of two little ones, has been abandoned by her partner, and the father of her children, having recently moved to the area, which was not to his liking! She has sought help from Citizens Advice Bureau and they are aiding her to ensure she is receiving the help she is entitled to, and to get on top of her debts. N struggles with her mental health and is alone in a new part of the country. Please would you consider helping this young family with some financial support towards food while they settle into their new lives?

Total needed £120M, who suffers with anxiety, depression and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), has a history of self-harm. He has recently spent three months in rehabilitation and, on leaving, was placed in shared accommodation which is not helping his mental health. M has barely any possessions and is in need of essentials and clothing. Please would you consider supporting this gentlemen with some funds towards food and clothing? Thank you.

Total needed £120My client and his wife have been struggling for a while. They have two daughters with special needs and he is unable to work because of health issues. They have been working with Christians Against Poverty (CAP) and are getting a Debt Relief Order to give them a fresh start. My client is intending to do the CAP Money course to get some help with their budgeting. They currently need oil and it would really bless them to have some help with paying for this. Thank you.

Total needed £200R and his wife are currently homeless and are looking for accommodation. At the moment they are staying with a friend who is helping them out. R and his wife would like to repay this friend for the generosity shown to them, by buying items such as food etc. They would appreciate having a shopping voucher to enable them to do this and feel that they are then, at least, contributing a little towards staying with this friend.
