Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

Total needed £200This mum of five children, who is suffering from kidney failure and on dialysis, needs a new mattress for her eighteen year old son's double bed. Her partner is unable to work as he cares for her and their three year old. During a year of being homeless, much of their furniture was either stolen or damaged whilst it was in storage. Used beds were found for the children with old mattresses. Their son has type one diabetes, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, anxiety and depression, and is often bedridden on an uncomfortable old mattress.

Total needed £120L is a single lady who has just moved into social housing after living in a squalid flat for a long time. Her new home has no cooker, so she would be very grateful for support to buy one. L is dependent on benefits due to complex PTSD which prevents her from working. She has no savings due to the house move. L also supports her sick daughter by caring for her 10 year old twin grand-daughters most weekends, so having a cooker is essential for them all.

Total needed £200This Mum of an 18 month child is the carer for her husband who has epilepsy, mental health issues and back problems. They receive Universal Credit, child benefit, personal independence payment and carer's allowance, but are still struggling with the cost of living and have no savings.
