£0 remaining for a washing machine
Our client has been in and out of homelessness. He suffers with is mental health and is relying on foodbanks to get through each week. He has literally just moved out of a hostel into his own studio flat which has no furnishings. The church has sourced most of the items, but funds are needed to purchase a second-hand washing machine. Fortunately, the plumbing is available so a fast turnaround will be possible. Our client's income of Employment and Support Allowance isn't sufficient to make a purchase through saving as it would just take too long.
Our client has returned to Brighton after leaving a domestic violence relationship and has returned with nothing. He is in need of a mobile phone with some credit, and some clothes and shoes. He is in the process of applying for Universal Credit.
L is a single mother who moved into temporary accommodation last year, following a relationship breakdown. She has a nineteen month old son and is currently on Universal Credit. L has now been offered an exciting starter tenancy in affordable housing and desperately needs a new cooker, but doesn't have the funds to buy one. She would love to be able to cook meals for herself and her son. Thank you so much for your support.
J is a single parent with four children. She is currently working with Children's Social Services to make improvements in the home. J is in desperate need of a fridge freezer as she has to buy food daily to ensure the children have meals and fresh food, but this is very costly and not appropriate for the family to continue doing. A fridge freezer would alleviate a lot of the pressure and help provide home-cooked meals for the children. Thank you so much for your support.
