K was diagnosed with breast cancer in November and had her first surgery in December. It is very aggressive and more surgery is needed. K has had to give up her job and claim benefits. The disability benefit will take up to three months to be paid, but in the meantime she is in a desperate situation. K has a teenage daughter who is trying to support her mum as best she can, and is even trying to look for a part-time job to bring in some more money. Please could you help them get through this terrible time?

D, a single mum who is in recovery from addiction, is doing an amazing job at changing her and her daughter's situation since her daughter recently came back into her care. Mum is attending day rehabilitation, dealing with her debts and attending a budgeting course. She has recently moved into a new flat with her daughter, but she is sleeping on the sofa so that her daughter can have the bed. A new bed would enable D to rest better and to continue to make the positive changes she is already making in her life.

L is thirty four years old and claims Disability Benefit, due to her severe mental health. She has never been able to understand budgeting and has never been given any help and support around this. L has been referred to us by her GP for debt advice, as she has built up debts she cannot afford to pay. Once the rent and bills have been paid, L has barely enough money to buy food. We have other charities involved who are now giving the support she desperately needs. A Debt Relief Order is her best option. Thank you for your support.
