B, who has been homeless since December 2023, has been living in temporary accommodation. She has just moved into a home of her own and had very little to take with her when she moved. She has had some items of furniture gifted, but has no curtains or blinds at any of her windows. B is unable to work because of a disability, and her only income is from benefits.
A is in need of a double bed, due to the family having been rehoused and having to leave everything behind. They are currently sleeping on the floor. The family speaks very little English and is being supported by a Social Worker and Health Visitors. Their living conditions are very poor and they have no family to help them. E is a young single mum with a one year old little boy. She has been in an assessment unit for the last eight months. E has been the victim of many adverse experiences, not only during her childhood, but also into her adult life. She does not have any family members that she can rely on or get help from. E has now come to the end of her assessment and has a new home in Blackpool. She has dedicated her time into making it homely for her and her son, however, she needs a cooker.
