£0 remaining for a pair of glasses
This lady has many challenges. She lives alone and has spent much of the last year with mental health challenges, including a spell in hospital. She needs a pair of glasses, but cannot afford the cost as she is waiting for a Personal Independence Payment assessment, but this is taking a long time. Glasses make such a difference to this lady, and now she knows her sight can be improved, we would love for her not to have to wait any longer. Thank you.
S is on benefits and, as all her money goes on bills, she has no money left over to be able to buy a mattress. The current mattress is in really poor condition and S can feel the base of her bed, which has now given her a very painful back. Please can you help her to replace the double mattress?
K, a single mum of three children aged three, nine and eleven, is a type one diabetic and needs to keep insulin in a fridge. Her fridge freezer has broken so she is unable to store her medication safely or food for herself and her children. K receives Universal Credit and has no savings. We are requesting a fridge freezer for health and food needs.
