Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

H has a health condition, resulting from an accident, and was in hospital when we spoke. His capacity to work is limited because of this and he does receive Personal Independence Payment. Although he also receives Universal Credit, his benefits stopped for four months, due to an account problem which created rent arrears for him. A debt team is helping him with this. H said the fridge freezer has not been working for a while and he can't afford to replace it. He would be very grateful for your help. Thank you for reading this.
Still £95 left to donate
Total needed £200P had to leave her accommodation, due to personal safety issues, and lost all her belongings in the process. She is unable to work, due to mental and physical health problems, including sciatica and arthritis. These are being aggravated by her only having a blow-up bed to sleep on at present, and she has nowhere comfortable to sit. P awaits the outcome of her Personal Independence Payment application. A sofa bed would dramatically improve her quality of life and help her have the strength to deal with her situation.
