Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
This gentleman has been attending the St Vincent de Paul centre for several months. His mental health was severely impacted, but through collaboration with the Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) mental health team and our services, he has made significant progress. Now working towards personal empowerment and independence, this gentleman has applied to be a mechanic in Basildon. We request assistance in purchasing comfortable workwear (shoes, trousers and a jacket) and transport fees for two weeks to support his journey to personal independence. Thank you for your support.
