V is a Ukrainian refugee who came through the Homes for Ukraine scheme and is now living in an unfurnished, private rented property. Her husband has a disability and she is his full-time carer. They need your support to be able to purchase a washing machine. As they are receiving Universal Credit, it is quite challenging for them to afford all the white goods needed for their new house. Any support you can provide will make a huge difference to their circumstances.

They need the stairgates as the baby is mobile.

Mum cannot afford to buy these items which would make a great difference to the children getting a good sleep without waking up cold. Please could you help?

Her daughter would like to enrol into university to study psychology, but the issue the family is facing right now is that she needs to pay £200 for an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam in order to enrol. This is a massive amount for someone who is on benefits, and there is no charity who could financially support them because the daughter's age is below eighteen. They are on Universal Credit and struggling to pay their rent and bills. Any support would have a big impact on this family.
