Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
K, a single mum to a small child, has been referred to us as she is in an absolute desperate situation. K has been through, and is still going through, the most horrendous ordeal, which is too upsetting to go into detail. She has a number of mental and physical conditions which make her extremely vulnerable. K is a fantastic mum and always puts her child's needs before her own. She is on benefits and is really struggling financially. Please can you help gas and electric, a food shop and Christmas gifts, as a Christmas miracle? Thank you!
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200S, a lovely young mum who I met at our local wellbeing centre, was in distress as she had no money to buy food for her daughter, after the company, who she has a debt management plan with, took a double payment. We have now taken S on as a client to give her debt advice and find a more permanent debt solution for her. We have connected her with our local church, who run a food bank, and they have managed to give her some food to keep them going, but S is in need of a food shop and to top-up the gas.
