Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

Please would you consider helping V? She is a single mum of four children who suffers with fibromyalgia and asthma, and has several mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, dependent personality disorder (DPD) and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). V is struggling financially, due to the increased cost of living and surviving on benefits alone, as she is unable to work. Her two eldest children are disabled and it is important that the home is kept warm. All money goes to looking after V's children and ensuring they are fed and clothed, leaving nothing for herself.

L is a single lady who is struggling to get by, due to the cost of living crisis. She has been evicted and forced to move to a property with a much higher rent, which the local Housing Allowance does not cover. L has accumulated some debts, which she has sought help for from her local Citizens Advice. Would you please consider helping this lady with some shopping vouchers whilst we assist her and ensure she is receiving all the help she is entitled to? Thank you!

This lady, who has been the carer for her three grandchildren, two of whom have special needs, for the last seven years, had to give up work to do so. She had also been at college, hoping to go into the teaching profession. This lady is due to get the Warm Home Discount, but not until March, and has been missing out on the Household Support Fund. She hardly ever dares to turn on the heating and would be so grateful if we could help her to keep the children warm.
