Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
This lady, a new arrival in Hull, is an asylum seeker who is pregnant and due to give birth at the end of November this year. She has been given some baby items by a charity, but she still has many more baby items to buy such as baby clothes, blankets, a pram, feeding bottles and sterilizing equipment. This mum-to-be will appreciate the kind support from contributors towards her needs. This will make her happy because it will stop her from being worried about providing for her baby's needs.
Still £120 left to donate
Total needed £120L has three young children who share a bedroom. Currently, the children have no storage in their bedroom, so it is very difficult to keep their clothes tidy and clean. Mum would really like to be able to get some wardrobes and chests of drawers so that she can keep their room tidy. However, L is not currently able to work and her Universal Credit only just covers daily living costs, so she is not able to save towards anything.
