Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
A single mom, with two young boys, joined our church last year and has settled with us. Although the family has the majority of things needed, mom is in need of equipment to use in the kitchen for preparing and cooking meals for the family, such as saucepans, pots and oven dishes, as well as utensils.
Still £10 left to donate
Total needed £105This request is for a family who are living on Universal Credit so have a very low income. They only have two plates and sets of cutlery which they need to keep washing up to take it in turns to eat. They also have no microwave and only one pan to use to cook. We would love to help this family to have a more functional kitchen set up with a suitable amount of equipment, including a microwave, kettle and toaster, pots and pans, cutlery, crockery, utensils and tea towels.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200K is a single mum with seven children who has just moved into a new home after having been made homeless. She would really like a television, but cannot afford one with the limited amount of money she has. K is trying desperately to set up their home. Please can you help?
