Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
This gentleman left the family home where his ex-partner lives with his young son due a safeguarding issue. He stopped work to care for his son and lived with his parents with limited space. They now have accommodation which is 10+miles away from his parents. He is on benefits but has a lot of expenses including traveling to and from his parents to set up their new home. His wider family are unable to help financially. They need a wardrobe and with your kind donations we wish to help.
Still £135 left to donate
Total needed £135This gentleman left the family home where his ex-partner lives with his young son, due a safeguarding issue. Still £100 left to donate
Total needed £130T, who has acquired a huge rent debt with the local council, has recently stopped working due to her contract ending. We have tried to claim Universal Credit for her to help with the housing but, as her husband receives a state pension, and their son, who resides with them, is in receipt of Universal Credit, the family is not entitled to any further financial support. Donations from Acts 435 would reduce the amount owed, meaning T can manage the remaining debt a little easier.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200This single lady, who has been struggling with many housing issues, is in debt and has asked for additional help with school blazers and skirts for her two teenage girls. They have previously received your generous support with school shoes and shirts, for which they are very grateful.
