Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

Our client recently moved to the area, fleeing domestic violence. Unfortunately, she wasn't supported during this at all. She had to take out a loan to cover the moving costs. The client is disabled and so needs an orthopaedic mattress, which we are funding through other avenues. Her current bed frame is falling apart and so we would like to get her a new one. To top things off, due to the move her benefits have changed from the previous system to Universal Credit, which has caused a period of time with no money.
Still £110 left to donate
Total needed £185This young lady sought assistance from the St Vincent de Paul centre, following the cessation of a prolonged domestic violence ordeal. Given the damage incurred during this period, she is in need of a new bed frame and mattress. Additionally, we are collaborating with sister agencies specialising in domestic violence to provide comprehensive assistance. Any support extended to this young lady, during this challenging time, would be greatly appreciated.
Still £185 left to donate
Total needed £200Following a recent heart attack, three months ago, this gentleman finds himself in need of ongoing assistance. We are urgently requesting a regular food parcel, a kettle and a microwave. Our client was referred to us by Peabody after an outreach encounter where he was soliciting passers-by for food or financial aid. Although he has a flat, this gentleman's health condition prevents him from being able to work. Any support provided during this challenging time would be greatly appreciated.
