Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
K has been referred to Romero by her debt worker to ask for our help. She is in financial hardship and cannot afford to repay debts that have mounted up. K has also recently had a baby, but he is in temporary care until mum can get her life back on track. K is under extreme stress which is impacting on her mental health. If you can help us to support her to apply for a Debt Relief Order, mum can begin to get her life back on track and look to a brighter future for her son and herself.

Total needed £90N, a young, single mum with very limited finances, is living with her mother and has applied for a flat of her own to rent. Her wage is low and she has a young teenage daughter, so Christmas is an added drain on her resources and she can't afford the bill to have this orthodontic device repaired until next year. The tooth retainer is coming away, causing constant mouth discomfort and danger that teeth can become loose, or even be lost altogether. An early repair will save a lot of pain and worry.

Total needed £190P was referred to us through his Mental Health Specialist in order to help deal with his debts. He suffers with significant mental health issues and has fallen into debt, due to this not being under control. P has now accessed the medical help he needs and has ongoing support in place to stop him building any new debt, but he can't afford to repay the debt he has built up from his time in crisis. We have recommended a Debt Relief Order to get P a fresh start, but he can't afford the fee. Please can you help?
