Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

R has received Acts 435 help previously with his Council Tax and through no fault of his own, he is in arrears again. He receives Universal Credit and works part-time, but his working hours aren't consistent, which has a massive effect on his Council Tax support award. R's bill changes so often that he is never aware how much he owes, and has now received a bill for over £1000. Donations towards lowering the amount he owes would help the advocacy team here set up a more manageable payment plan for him.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200K lives with five of her six children in a very overcrowded council house. There has been some serious water damage, due to a workman's negligence, which has left the kitchen cupboards hanging off. K is working to organise the kitchen space, but with no cupboards, this is really challenging. Having some storage solutions, boxes, baskets, drawers and a trolley, would keep items in order, improve the family's ability to keep the kitchen tidy and help K to keep on top of things.
