£0 remaining for a Debt Relief Order
M is a single parent of three children and struggles with various mental health issues. She receives no child maintenance, as she fled from domestic violence two years ago. She hasn't been able to manage her bills and has; therefore, built up debt. Having sought help from Citizens Advice, M is waiting to apply for a Debt Relief Order and would be grateful for a kind donation for the fee.
J has come from supported living where he resided for eleven months. Previous to this, he lived in his car as he was suffering serious mental health issues. J is now trying to get his life back on track and has a new property but it has no flooring down. His only income is Universal Credit and he has no savings. Flooring in the property would greatly improve his mental health; currently his home his cold, damp and miserable. Carpets have kindly been supplied, but any help with fitting costs would be a huge help to J.
C is a single mum of three children who is living in a cold, damp house with no carpets. Mum and the children rarely use downstairs as it’s too cold with stone floors. C isn’t working, has no savings and only receives Universal Credit. We would love to make her house into a home and can carpet it for free, but just need a little help with the cost of fitting. Any help would be an absolute Godsend.
B is a single mum of two fleeing domestic violence. Her only income is Universal Credit and she has no savings. Mum has effectively had to start her home again from scratch, which has been a real challenge. The house she is now living in has no floor coverings down, which is far from ideal as her children are very active and there is a risk of injury. We have an offer of free carpets, but need help with the fitting costs. Any financial support would be very gratefully received.
