£0 remaining for school shoes and PE trainers
E, a single parent of four children, one of whom is in receipt of Disability Living Allowance, is supported by the local Foodbank. She is faced with large childcare bills, fuel costs and Council Tax rises. Last month she came down with shingles and wasn’t able to go to work. Due to that, her employer has deducted a third off her monthly wages. With the new school term coming up, there are four lots of uniforms to buy, as well as school shoes. £130 should buy school shoes and trainers for PE.
We are working with the parents of two young children who are trying to establish some good boundaries and routines. One of these is to have meals around a dining table, but they don't have a table to sit at. We would love to provide a dining table and chairs for this family and allow them to encourage and enjoy appropriate meal times together. They are struggling financially and aren't able to buy this for themselves.
This lady and her son left their family home, due to the husband being controlling and starting to get violent with her. They have now got a flat to move into and start their new life. They walked away with very little and we would like to be able to get them a fridge freezer to start them off. Please can you help?
J left an abusive relationship when she was pregnant and has recently been rehomed with her child in a flat which is giving her a new beginning. Unfortunately, the flat is unfurnished and J works, but is on a low income and cannot afford an oven. She would be very grateful of your support to help her to buy one.
