£0 remaining for a double buggy
We are supporting a young mum who has a toddler aged twenty two months and a baby that is three months old. Mum only has a single pushchair and; therefore, is struggling to get out of the house to go to appointments or to get to the shops, because her toddler is too young to walk very far. It would make such a difference if she could take her two children out of the home together safely.
This young, single parent has been struggling because she had to replace her daughter's buggy and has been hit by other expenses. Her own health is not good and she worries about getting around as she has no transport. Mum's household energy bills are high because she uses equipment such as a bath lift, bed lift and heated blankets, and has to purchase a lot of non prescription creams and ointment to keep her skin condition under control. Please can you help mum?
P has been in mental health hospital for a long period of time. Whilst there, his home was burgled and most of his possessions stolen. P is now home with support from the mental health and safeguarding teams as he is a vulnerable adult. Riviera Life Church has provided kitchen essentials and bedding but he has no fridge freezer which he is concerned about. He is unable to work and is dependent on benefits with no savings. Provision of a fridge freezer would greatly help his health and well being.
L is a young man who has been struggling with ill health. He has lost a lot of weight and is currently undergoing various tests to try and find the cause. Due to his ill health, this young man is unable to work and now has a Support Worker who is hopefully going to help him budget. L's current fridge freezer is very small and unreliable and, on the advice of his GP, he must eat more. Please would you consider helping this young man to obtain a larger appliance so that he can store food he needs to help his health? Thank you.
