£0 remaining for clothing and toiletries
L has left an abusive relationship and is seventy miles away from her family. Warming up the Homeless are supporting her for her mental health and have provided underwear for her. L is in desperate need of clothes and toiletries, as she left hers behind when she fled. I know L will be very grateful for any help you can give. Thank you!
L had a house fire on 22nd March that gutted the bedroom and smoke damaged the rest of her house. She has brain damage, as well as other disabilities, and her adult daughter stays with her to care for her. L receives Employment Support Allowance and disability benefits. We are requesting £200 for bedding, towels, curtains, paint and clothes to help her recover from the house fire. Please can you help?
D wanted to write her story herself: "I was left doubly incontinent following assault. In 2021 I was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma. Thankfully I'm now in remission, but the tumour affected my mobility severely. This means incontinence accidents happen frequently, making me feel depressed, anxious and isolated. Clothing and bedding must be washed daily. I worked all my life but now need your kindness if possible please. My mattress is in bad condition and I do not have the money to replace it."
J suffers with depression and a severe medical condition, which has led him to struggle with his finances. Unfortunately, several of his white goods have gone wrong recently including his fridge and he is extremely worried because his medication has to be stored in there. Any funds to go towards a new fridge for him would be most appreciated.
