S has four children, all under the age of eleven years old. She is dyslexic and has other mental health issues. Due to an inability to manage her finances, S has built up a number of debts, but these can be dealt with through a Debt Relief Order. Her smallest daughter needs to move from a cot to a bed and S needs to purchase a mattress, but cannot afford the cost as she struggles to pay for essential bills and living expenses. Help to buy the mattress would be very much appreciated so that the child can sleep comfortably at night as soon as possible.
This lady is a nan who has taken on custody of her granddaughter as her daughter is suffering with her mental health. She is now changing her life of working and volunteering at a charity shop for her church, to fit around the responsibility of looking after her granddaughter. This lady's washing machine has stopped working and it's not good timing with the added washing. She is trying to juggle a lot and also supporting her daughter. Money is a struggle with the added cost of having her granddaughter.
This man was referred to me as, during a seven week spell in hospital, his fiat was broken into by drug addicts and most of his possessions were either stolen or broken. This has been reported to police. He is on benefits, unable to work, due to bad back, and has no savings. A local charity has helped with a washing machine and television, but this man is desperately in need of help to buy a second-hand fridge freezer, help clear his gas arrears and put some cash on the meter.
This sixty two year old, single lady was in temporary accommodation, following eviction, but now has an unfurnished flat. She is unable to work, due to her mental health, and is on Universal Credit with no savings. This lady is currently sleeping on the floor and desperately needs £200 to fund a second-hand bed and bedroom curtains.
