We have done a home visit today and discovered that her fridge freezer is broken and she does not have any money to replace it. T, who is twenty seven year old and a single mum to two young children, is in desperate need of a cooker. She has fled domestic violence and is trying so hard to build a better future for herself and her children. T cannot currently see a way forward and we are supporting her as much as we can. X, who we met at the toddler group at our church, is living on a very low income and struggling with anxiety. She disclosed that she is really worried about the situation at home, and is in a dispute about her benefit income with an ex-partner. This is being resolved, but X has been living with only part of her benefits for weeks. Her partner took the microwave and washing machine from the house when he moved out and X has no finance to replace these. Please could you help?
