W is thirty two and a single mum to six children. She is unable to work as the youngest children are under two. W is really struggling financially as she relies on benefits. We have done a home visit today and discovered that her fridge freezer is broken and she does not have any money to replace it. T, who is twenty seven year old and a single mum to two young children, is in desperate need of a cooker. She has fled domestic violence and is trying so hard to build a better future for herself and her children. T cannot currently see a way forward and we are supporting her as much as we can. She has become involved in our local church community and this is an enormous help to her. T is unable to replace her broken cooker as she has little left after she had paid her bills. Please can you help?
T has had her property broken into and the front door and some furniture have been damaged. Her fridge freezer is broken and she also needs a new settee. However, due to having to pay for repairs to her home, so she can feel safe and more comfortable, T does not have spare funds to purchase these. She is struggling with her mental health and is receiving support for this. T would appreciate any help with this.
X, who we met at the toddler group at our church, is living on a very low income and struggling with anxiety. She disclosed that she is really worried about the situation at home, and is in a dispute about her benefit income with an ex-partner. This is being resolved, but X has been living with only part of her benefits for weeks. Her partner took the microwave and washing machine from the house when he moved out and X has no finance to replace these. Please could you help?
