£0 remaining for a fridge freezer
W is thirty two and a single mum to six children. She is unable to work as the youngest children are under two. W is really struggling financially as she relies on benefits. We have done a home visit today and discovered that her fridge freezer is broken and she does not have any money to replace it. The baby's milk isn't being kept at the temperature it should be and she cannot store chilled or frozen food. B refers to a new fridge freezer as a luxury she cannot afford. Please can you help?
Safe Families are supporting a newly blended family who have had to adjust really quickly to sudden changes as they have become a family of ten. The family are living in a three bedroom property and the youngest child, aged two, is sharing a bed. The family are struggling financially and we would like to support them by providing the youngest child with a new toddler bed, mattress and bedding. Please could you help? Thank you so much.
Dad is a single parent looking after his four children. Safe Families are working alongside dad to complete general maintenance around the home and improve the conditions. The family, who are struggling financially, would really benefit from a replacement fridge freezer, as the current one is spilling water out at the bottom and leaking all over the kitchen floor. The freezer door is icing over and sticking shut so the family are unable to access their food. Please could you help?
This family had to flee a private, fully furnished, rented house, due to their daughter witnessing a stabbing; the court case is still pending. Mum is in need of wardrobes for herself and her daughter and two sets of drawers. At present, everything is still in bin bags, which is causing a lot of added stress, as this is a very tidy family on a very low income. Mum is depressed and her daughter is struggling with mental health, due to the trauma.
