This gentleman was referred to the St Vincent de Paul centre as he has just moved into a one bedroom flat. He has a brain injury and needs assistance with furnishing his apartment to make it a bit more homely. Our centre is asking for your kindness to buy a bed and mattress for this gentleman to help him as he starts a new life, and give him a bit of comfort as he battles his ailment.
K, who is in a wheelchair, has just been diagnosed with dementia, but still lives independently. His cooker has broken and is beyond repair. K lives alone, relies on his pension and is unable to afford a cooker. He would really appreciate your support in purchasing a cooker. Many thanks.
S is a young single mum to two children. Due to difficult circumstances, she has had to move repeatedly from area to area, and relies on benefits to support herself and her children. We are hoping that S will be able to put down roots in her new property, however, there is no cooker.
