£0 remaining for a water debt
My client has finally reached out to Christians Against Poverty, following a traumatic bereavement and expected death. This has resulted in her putting her head in the sand and the debts escalating. No matter how many extra hours she works, my client cannot clear the debts. She works very hard in a care home and is putting effort and time into helping those in need. It would be amazing to bless her too. Our client often goes without to give to her grandchildren. Please can you help?
This vulnerable man struggles with mental health issues and finds it difficult to manage his benefits. He is in need of a double mattress as he is not sleeping well. He receives Universal Credit, but has no spare money to buy a replacement. Please would you consider helping him? Thank you.
I have been asked by a Housing Officer to help this vulnerable lady, who usually has support, to manage her bills with energy vouchers. Sadly, the funding has run out and she is in need of a new vacuum cleaner as hers is broken. This lady is required to keep her flat clean, but has no spare money from her benefits to buy one. I will buy an Argos voucher for her with the Acts 435 donations so that it goes towards a cleaner. Please would you help her? Thank you.
This lady has recently moved into a new house with her four children after suffering domestic abuse. Her ex-partner has left her with a lot of debt and she is constantly living in an overdraft which incurs over £150 in fees and overdraft interest. This lady has to drive her children to three different schools and is not eligible for help with transport, so she is spending an average of £20 a day on fuel. She is due to receive debt advice from Christians Against Poverty, but needs help in the meantime. Thank you.
