£0 remaining for a washer-dryer
Our client was previously homeless and living in temporary housing provided by the council. She has now been reallocated a new flat, due to her medical conditions, and her flat has been assessed by an Occupational Therapist to ensure its suitability. However, the flat does not come with any household essentials and furniture. Our client is on a low income and is solely reliant on benefits, due to being unfit for work. She is claiming Universal Credit and an enhanced rate of Personal Independence Payment. Please can you help her to buy a washer-dryer?
This single male presented at foodbank in a state of crisis with nowhere to turn. We have been able to help him with food and fuel, as he disclosed that he had not had any heating or water for four months. At present his mental health is deteriorating and he is under the care of the Mental Health services. At present our client is sleeping on the floor in his accommodation, as he is in debt and unable to raise funds for a bed and mattress. We are kindly seeking your support.
Our client is a single parent who receives Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment to live on, and has an old mattress where the springs are poking through. She is in need of a replacement, which is second-hand, but in good order, so that she doesn't have to worry about being hurt by the springs in her current mattress. Our client suffers from arthritis and back pain, and a new mattress would make a big difference to her life at night time. We hope that you can help this woman in her need.
I am supporting a wonderful young woman who has been through extensive and high risk domestic abuse. Thankfully, she has now moved into more secure accommodation to give her some much needed independence and safety. This young woman needs to purchase some items for herself to make her new place homely, and provide some practical solutions. She would like to purchase a new wardrobe and some small storage solutions.
