£0 remaining for a washing machine
My client, who has two school aged children, has been without a washing machine for two months. She struggles financially with her daily needs and relies heavily on food and fuel banks to look after her household. My client doesn't have any family or friends close by so cannot use their washing machine, and the cost of a laundrette is eating away at their food budget. Christians Against Poverty has recently helped with her debts, but mum is unable to work, due to female health issues.
Our client, F, is in need of a new oven. Unfortunately, his old one broke and he hasn't got enough money to replace it because he is paying off debts and is currently unemployed, seeking employment. Please can you help F?
This lady, who is in a very difficult relationship, is an asylum seeker who has nothing. A vacuum cleaner and a fan is really needed as she lives in a very small studio flat with no carpet, and a very young child who is now crawling.
This family that we have been supporting are now now debt free, doing great work on their budget and managing their money. Unfortunately, their tumble dryer has broken down and is unable to be repaired. The family, who do not have the savings set aside, and are coping now, but come the autumn and winter, when they rely on it for the children's clothes, they will need a replacement. They have come to us one last time to ask if there is anything we can do to support them. The family have a disabled adult and a child with special educational needs (SEN). They rely on the tumble dryer to dry the clothes, especially in the winter.
