£0 remaining for a washing machine
N is a single mum of two children, aged twelve and nine years old. The nine year old is currently very ill, but without a diagnosis. He keeps vomiting and has seen numerous doctors/paediatricians. N is unable to work as she has to be available to look after her son. She receives Universal Credit, but no child maintenance from the father. N also suffers from depression and anxiety. She has had no washing machine for four months and is relying upon friends' support. We are requesting £200 for a washing machine. Thank you.
N, who lives on her own, is struggling to manage on her Universal Credit payment, particularly as she has debts with her electricity bill. She previously worked as a carer but, due to nerve damage, is unable to work. We are requesting £200 for a cooker. Thank you for your help.
K has a problem with severe mould in her flat, which has affected her health and her bed, and she is currently sleeping on the sofa. She receives Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment, but a very low amount which barely covers costs. K has a number of health conditions including a knee injury, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and anxiety. The council is currently working on the mould condition in the flat and we are requesting £200 for a new bed for when the mould condition is sorted. Thank you for your help.
This single mum, who lives in a two bedroom flat with her daughter, is on minimum income. Her electric cooker has come to the end of its life and mum is finding it increasingly difficult to cook. Ready prepared meals are expensive because she only has the use of a microwave. £200 would allow her to purchase a new cooker. Mum is a good cook and enjoys cooking but, without a working cooker, is finding this difficult.
