£0 remaining for a fridge freezer
This client was referred to us by the local Social Services centre after it was found that she had been living in long-term accommodation, with her two young children, without a working fridge freezer. The mother of two explained how the fridge freezer had broken a few months ago and, unfortunately, due to ill health and a low income, she was unable to replace it. Since then, mum has been trying to survive with non perishables, but this is not sustainable. This support would allow a new fridge freezer for the family.
Mum is a single parent of three children under five years old. The family has moved to a new property where there is no cooker and she has limited finances. Mum suffers with poor mental health and has recently been physically unwell. The family is isolated and mum is struggling to manage the meal times with no cooker. There is a separate Acts 435 request to cover the cost of the gas cooker. This request is for the installation and delivery costs. Please could you help? Thank you.
This single mum, who is caring for her two children, has been through a really difficult time recently. She has really poor mental health which means that every day tasks are too much. Mum has asked for a tumble dryer to help keep on top of the washing for her and her children. Due to the children being young, and with limited space, mum was really worried about the children touching the heated airer, and was really keen for a tumble dryer. Please could you help this family? Thank you so much.
A lovely mum that Safe Families are supporting would like to get a cabin bed for her daughter, who is six years old and on the pathway for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Mum struggles with anxiety and is also struggling financially. There isn't much space in the daughter's bedroom, and so mum feels that having a cabin bed would enable more space and also make space for a sensory area under the bed for her daughter to be in. Please could you help this family? Thank you.
