Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
This single mum needs a skip to remove excess goods from her home. A support worker is helping mum and the children - ages 2 and 9. Both the children are currently being assessed for neurodivergence. Mum is unable to afford to pay for the skip herself as she has limited income- she works part time and is on Universal Credit. We have been providing food bank support. With your kind donations, we want to help.
Still £110 left to donate
Total needed £200This single mum is a full-time carer for three children under the age of thirteen, including a son who is autistic. They have been living in a poorly maintained house for the past twelve months, following a relationship breakdown. They need carpets for the stairs, landing and two bedrooms to make their home warm and comfortable. Mum receives benefits, but is unable to afford carpets. We can provide carpets free of charge, but need to fund the fitting charges. With your kind donations, we wish to help.

Total needed £200S is a single mom who had to leave her house because of domestic violence, moved to temporary housing and lost her all belongings. Universal credit sanctioned her because of missed appointments. We are trying to support mom with all issues she is struggling with, but she needs to pay electric and gas bills from the previous property she was living. Because of S's situation, her mental health is really bad. Could I please request our generous donors to help this lovely lady? Thanks in advance.
