The fourteen year old has autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and mum receives Universal Credit and Carers Allowance. Nine months ago the family had to relocate thirty miles away due to domestic abuse. The children kept attending school, so L was unable to save due to the cost of the school run. They are now moving back closer to their family support network, but the accommodation is totally empty. L is seeking help for second-hand beds for her fourteen and thirteen year old children.
