Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

M is in her early fifties and has not had it easy in life: having to adjust to living with a Colostomy bag and scheduling Dialysis sessions in between work has not stopped her. Unfortunately, she broke her ankle recently and now the steady stream of income through work has stopped and she has found herself with no recourse to public funds. M has reached out, and gets help from a charity to change her status in the UK, but that will take time. She is in need of food vouchers so that she can keep her special diet.

Total needed £150Our client came to the UK on a work visa with her husband, who is unable to work as he has Prostate Cancer. When her work permit was expiring, she applied to the Home Office for leave to remain. Sadly, this was refused and both herself and her husband became destitute with no access to public funds. The case with the Home Office is ongoing and is at the appeal stage. They have asked us for help with food and clothing. £100 would help to buy clothing and provide a little extra for their food budget.
