Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

This vulnerable young man has just been put out of the family home and has nowhere to go. He is engaging well with our employment charity and has a realistic chance of finding work and being able to pay for future rent, but not if he is street homeless. This support will cover two nights emergency accommodation in a regular hotel (including a substantial hot buffet breakfast), whilst other options are looked at with support.

Total needed £200RT is a Ghanaian national who has lived in the UK for many years. She has been homeless for around fifteen years and has solely relied on her friends in the UK for accommodation, food and essentials. We have assisted RT to make an application for leave to remain, but she does not have any form of ID except for her birth certificate, as she has never been able to pay the fee for a new passport. Unfortunately, the Home Office does not accept birth certificates as sufficient ID for an application. Please can you help RT to get a passport?

Total needed £100S is a single mum who is suffering from depression and other health issues, due to having had to endure twelve years of antisocial behaviour from her next-door neighbour. The neighbour was moved recently and S has taken this opportunity to make a new start. This included asking Christians Against Poverty for help with her debts. S would really appreciate your help with buying a new microwave, as hers stopped working a few weeks ago and, with a teenage boy in the house, it is really missed. Any remaining money is for food vouchers.
