Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
G is a grieving father. Prior to his son's death, his son was in respite care and G stayed at a hotel for one night so he could visit. G was later shocked to receive a parking charge, even though the hotel has free parking. He has tried to appeal the charge, without success, and the distress this is causing is unbearable. G cannot afford the charge and has lost all hope of overturning it. He has sought help from Citizens Advice Bureau and they are looking to make a complaint against the company. Please would you consider helping G?
Still £170 left to donate
Total needed £170This lady, who is a single member of our church, is raising her disabled son on benefits. He is currently struggling with delayed speech, and the recommendation is that mum gets a second- hand television in order that she can play songs/children programmes for her son, to help with his understanding of English. Mum currently does not have a television and has tried using a phone for this, but it is ineffective in holding her son's attention.
