Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
This gentleman is a long-term service user of ours who has recently moved into a new house of multiple occupancy (HMO) and is currently without basic amenities. He is in need of a chest of drawers and a television. We are urgently seeking assistance to source and deliver these items to ensure that this gentleman has the necessities to care for himself with dignity and pride.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200A is thirty four year old mum of two young children. After a terrible car accident some years ago, her mental health has deteriorated. Because of severe anxiety, mum has been unable to pluck up the courage to get the dental treatment she so desperately needs. We have been working A for some time and are currently dealing with her debts which, when dealt with, will make a huge difference to her state of mind. However, mum now realises that she needs to get her teeth treated, but is unable to afford the cost.
Still £145 left to donate
Total needed £145T is a 28-year-old disabled lady, who is a client of the Sue Lambert Trust. She has been victimised by a neighbour for over a year and because of this, the council have offered her a property in a new location. She must pay a month’s rent in advance on the new property and is using all her savings to do this. She cannot afford the cost of renting a van to move her belongings to the new property and has requested support to help her meet the cost of the van hire. Thank you.
