Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

V has been working with Social Care since finding out she was pregnant last year. She was struggling with substance addiction, but was able to become abstinent from all drugs and alcohol. V, who has recently given birth, has now signed a tenancy agreement for a council house which was completely unfurnished with no flooring. She took a loan out to cover the cost of flooring, which we believe will put her in financial hardship when trying to repay. V would appreciate support with this. Many thanks.

Total needed £200We have been supporting this client who is homeless. We were able to find him an unfurnished home through Lease for Life and the company has a new fridge freezer that they have said they would sell to our client for £200, a great price for the make and model. Our client came to us and asked if we would be able to support him with the funding to purchase it. We would love to be able to raise the funds to gift him this fridge freezer and get him moved into his new home.
Still £150 left to donate
Total needed £200T is unable to work, due to health issues relating to a tumour which was discovered when giving birth to her daughter in 2017, and she is now receiving treatment which causes side effects, including depression. T is currently residing in council accommodation and the current state of the property is in some disrepair, and is prone to getting damp and mould on the premises. T urgently needs the support of dehumidifiers to be able to make her living situation more manageable, which has become increasingly harder, due to her disability.
