Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
J and her young son, have recently moved and had very little furniture and no flooring. We supplied furniture, but would appreciate your support with carpets. Mum's son, who has autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), runs around a lot. This is resulting in complaints from neighbours about the noise, which she is very anxious about. J, who works part-time whilst her son is at school, would be really grateful for your support in providing a master bedroom carpet. Many thanks

Total needed £200This lovely young lady is single parent to a little four year old boy who has just started school. The council has moved them into a completely unfurnished flat. Mum has spent all her money on uniform and second-hand furniture, and now has to use the foodbank to get by. Friends have found her a fridge-freezer, but one of them suggested she asked us for help to get a new washing machine. Mum could not believe that we would help, as the council has refused.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200V, an asylum seeker with a very traumatic background, is currently homeless, due to having been evicted from his previous Home Office accommodation, and has nowhere to go from tonight (30/09). HMSC is assisting him on an urgent basis and we have made an urgent application to the Home Office for further accommodation, however, they have not responded to date and we are today sending a very urgent legal letter.
