Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
R, who is rebuilding her life after being in prison, has finished our employability programme and is looking for paid work. She is working hard, and we have supported with benefits, reducing isolation and mental health. R has recently moved into her own flat for this fresh start, however, she needs an oven for the property in order to support cooking better meals and batch cooking, reducing costs.

Total needed £200This man has moved into his first secure tenancy after many years of homelessness and instability in his living circumstances. He has been supported to get some household goods and bedding, as he had absolutely no possessions and no means to purchase these. The major outstanding item this man requires is a washing machine, as his property does not have any washing facilities. Can you please help him?
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200D is a young mum who, together with her partner, has been working with Christians Against Poverty, and the family recently became debt free. D's brother has died tragically at a young age and, although financial help is available for the funeral, D is keen to involve a celebrant. They have a little money saved, but just can't afford the full amount, as their savings pot is simply not large enough. We would love to bless them.

Total needed £200This disabled lady has been a client of the food bank for some time. The support she has received, both practical and emotional, has seen her grow in confidence and take a more positive attitude to life. With our encouragement, this lady investigated courses run by the local Skill and Learning body and is attending a Basic Computing Course (government sponsored), but also expressed a keen interest in an art course which carries a fee of £49.
