Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
This young care leaver, who has two pre-school children, has been given the chance to swap houses so that she can move close to her friends and support networks in the town where she grew up. She has been very isolated, as she doesn't have a car, in a rural town where she knows nobody. This move will bring so many benefits and she will find childcare and work opportunities easier. This young lady has worked hard to become debt free and this money is to cover moving costs so she doesn't take a loan and maybe face debt again.

Total needed £200This gypsy lady has been struggling to find work in a world where everything is online. She has been looking for work for over a year now with no success. She has started jewellery classes and a gardening business, selling her work at markets but, until these take off, she has been trying to feed herself and her pets on the money from her Universal Credit. This lady has a full septic tank so, added to her financial burden, she is unable to flush the toilet or put anything down the drain. Can you help to get this tank emptied, please?

Total needed £200J moved last year through the Housing Association, but the new accommodation was not furnished at all. He is on a basic State Pension, is disabled and finding it hard to get by, and is being supported by his local food bank. J desperately needs a sofa and chair, but cannot afford to buy one. Any help to enable him to get some seating, so that he has somewhere comfortable to sit and so that he can have visitors, would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
