Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

This sixty two year old, single lady was in temporary accommodation, following eviction, but now has an unfurnished flat. She is unable to work, due to her mental health, and is on Universal Credit with no savings. This lady is currently sleeping on the floor and desperately needs £200 to fund a second-hand bed and bedroom curtains.
Still £175 left to donate
Total needed £200This disabled man has a spinal injury and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). He and his wife, who has a learning disability, are in receipt of a low income which includes Personal Independence Payment. They rent a small flat which is very susceptible to damp, condensation and mould spores. They need to dry their laundry indoors, but this is exacerbating his COPD. Please could you help to provide them with a condenser tumble dryer which will help to reduce the build-up of damp?
