Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

Our applicant is an unaccompanied asylum-seeking young person from Egypt. Social Services have disputed his age, however, he has recently managed to get a copy of his birth certificate. The applicant needs to cover the cost of shipping, via DHL, to bring the document from Egypt to the UK. The applicant also needs phone credit to call his family in Egypt. The amount requested will be used to cover the cost of travel to the nearest DHL office, postage, and phone credit to call his family in Egypt.
Still £80 left to donate
Total needed £80This single mum has significant medical problems causing her almost continuous discomfort. She receives Child Benefit, Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment. Mum has moved to a secure tenancy which is completely unfurnished. She has incurred debts, due to misunderstandings, and continues to pay back arrears, putting a huge strain on her low income. Mum's four year old has outgrown her cot and now sleeps with her. A single bed with drawers, a mattress and bedding would enhance her daughter's independence, improve storage and allow them both to sleep better.
Still £190 left to donate
Total needed £200This single mother, who is living with her two young children in London, would like a cot for her six month old baby. The family has no recourse to public funds at present and, therefore, the mother is struggling to get everything she needs for her young baby. Mum has a Moses basket, but the baby is growing fast and will soon need a proper cot.
