Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

Our applicant is an asylum seeker whose church, our centre and community are in South East London. His solicitor and the Winter Night Shelter he is sleeping in are in South West London. He is homeless and trying to obtain leave to remain in the UK after eighteen years here. Our applicant needs to buy a bus pass to travel between South East London and between the shelter spaces in South West London. Without any income, he desperately needs help with travel for the next few months and immediate accommodation.
Still £185 left to donate
Total needed £200L, who is in her early fifties, had been a live-in carer for her elderly mother for many years and then became homeless, following the passing of her mother at the end of last year. L is now living with a volunteer host in North London, whilst she is supported to rebuild her life. Her church and friends are in South London and we would like to support L with a monthly bus pass so she can continue to engage with her support networks. She has recently signed up to do some volunteering.
