Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

S and her two young children live in a house with no carpets, which means that it doesn't feel very homely. Having no carpets often prevents them inviting people over and leaves them isolated. One of the children has additional needs and it is really a challenging time for them. They don't have spare funds to cover the cost of getting carpets, as they are reliant on benefits as, due to mental health issues, S isn't able to work. It would make a massive difference to them to have carpets.

T lives in Bedford, and his circumstances, particularly his relationship breakdown, have meant that he has needed to move several times in quick succession. He now rents one room in shared accommodation and has some work as a Labourer, but his income is very low. All this has resulted in debts he is unable to pay. Being able to apply for a Debt Relief Order would allow him a fresh start, free from the repercussions of his debt, and the worry this is causing.
