£0 remaining for a school coat
Please can you help to provide a coat for a girl whose mum is disabled and dad is the carer. They have been working to repay their debts through the support of Christians Against Poverty. They have managed to get most of the school uniform needed, but need a little extra help to provide their daughter with a coat to keep her dry and warm in the autumn and winter months. Thank you!
P, who moved into our accommodation after a long stay in prison, has now been out of prison for three years, has become a Christian, is working part-time and has moved into his own accommodation. He has been working hard to get the items he needs to furnish his new home, but is in need of flooring. P would very much appreciate some money towards carpeting his living room, especially as he is now in contact with his daughters and would like them to visit his new home.
This girl visited our centre with her family. They are currently homeless, as they are fleeing danger and violence in their country. While the council provided housing for the parents and younger siblings, the two older girls were deemed non-vulnerable and received no assistance. We cannot bear to see these girls end up on the streets, especially considering their limited English and the trauma endured. We urgently need your assistance to house this girl in a bed and breakfast for four nights.
This family regrettably missed an appointment with the Home Office, leading to the withdrawal of their asylum claim. Although the council offered housing for the parents and two younger siblings, the two older girls were considered non-vulnerable and did not receive assistance. It's distressing to envision these girls facing the prospect of homelessness. We urgently seek your help in providing housing for this young girl for four nights while the necessary steps are taken.
