£0 remaining for a sofa, table and chairs
T has recently signed for a new tenancy. He struggles with many daily tasks, due to his medical condition and the medication he is on. Because of his medical condition, he is unable to work, so does not have funds to furnish his new flat. Friends and family have helped him as much as possible, but he is short of a sofa, table and dining chairs, which he is happy to purchase from a local Charity Shop. Having these will help him settle into his new home and he will be more comfortable.
JB had been living in Spain with her late husband. Sadly, he died in Spain and she returned to the UK to be nearer family. JB has been living in temporary furnished accommodation, but has been offered a permanent home that is unfurnished. She was working part-time, but was involved in a hit and run accident and is now unable to work. JB is in urgent need of a fridge freezer, but cannot afford one as she is currently on a very low income from Statutory Sick Pay.
This Iranian couple have just been granted asylum after fleeing from corrupt government officials. We had the privilege of baptizing them and, since they’ve been granted asylum, they have had to leave their temporary home of six months and move into a hotel for the foreseeable future They have three children, one of whom is just three months old, and are sharing one room with extremely limited resources. We are helping them out with many essentials, but this fridge would be a huge help in establishing some normality.
Dad is currently caring for his three children who are all under three years old. Mum has recently abandoned the family, leaving the home and the children in very poor condition. Dad was working away and had to leave his employment to care for the children. He is hard working and trying to do his best, however, he is struggling financially. Dad has requested help with a washing machine to give his children clean clothes and make the significant changes needed in their home. Thank you.
