Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

M is a single mum on no recourse to public funds. She recently had twins (a boy and a girl) and sadly lost the little girl. Although M is grateful for her baby boy, she is filled with mixed emotions of celebrating her son as well as mourning her little princess. M is now at home, and since then she has been relying on charities for support. M has fallen behind on her gas and electric top up, needs some food and baby formula vouchers.

Total needed £200A lives with his wife and their three young children, all under 7 years. A has recently been granted leave to remain in the UK and has used all his savings to rent a private house, which left him with barely anything to even buy food for his family. A is in the process of applying for Universal Credit but it is taking longer than expected. A needs support to get a refrigerator, as the little food they have is going off, some food vouchers and bus tickets to get to job interviews.

Total needed £200CK, who has recently been housed after a prolonged period of homelessness, has no family willing to help and has been diagnosed as autistic. He receives basic Universal Credit, but does not receive any disability benefits as his diagnosis is recent. CK would also prefer to be working. He was awarded Local Welfare Provision and received a single bed, cooker and fridge but nothing else. He, therefore, seeks help to buy a washing machine.
