Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

He has had help from friends, but still needs more support with a wardrobe, lamp, cabinets, a double bed, a table, a kettle, cups and plates.
Still £180 left to donate
Total needed £180M is a single gentleman and asylum seeker who is struggling to make ends meet. He is not permitted to work at the moment, but he volunteers at a local charity. M lives with a friend and pays a small contribution towards the rent each month, but has been struggling to raise that. M came to us in need of financial support to pay a small rent contribution of £80, requested by his friend, and some money for food or to travel to the foodbanks to get some food.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200E, who has mental and physical health difficulties, is a single parent of three children. The family was subject to a no fault eviction from their private rented home and were housed in their current accommodation by the council. They are dependent on Universal Credit and mum was recently sanctioned, due to not having access to her Universal Credit journal. E's washing machine is broken and she needs help to buy a new one.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200EC is single mum to four dependent children, aged five, six, nine and thirteen years old. She is a working mum, and, as such, is not eligible for school food vouchers for the school holidays, which has added to the burgeoning costs of the holiday period. EC is trying to get the new uniforms together for the new term in September and has asked for help with the cost of this.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200E, a single gentleman living on his own, has a chronic long-term condition. He has just received his refugee leave to remain in the UK and has been moved to a temporary accommodation which he shares with four others. Unfortunately, E has been cooking his food and puts it in a shared fridge, but wakes up to nothing. He is not working, due to his illness, and requests financial support to purchase a fridge freezer, some storage boxes, cabinets and TV for his room, to avoid losing his food stuffs.
Still £145 left to donate
